Most of my art work, I go for an aesthetic that is, well… maybe “harmonious” is the right word. I want the colors and lines to work together so that the painting is comfortable, leaves the viewer feeling good. But some mental states are not  comfortable at all.  They leave us disjointed. Uneasy.  And anxiety is one of those emotional states. So, how do I use colors that do work together, to leave the viewer understanding that unsettled place? That was the challenge for this painting.
