This was an odd one. I loved doing it, but when I tried to photograph it with the normal array of lights and lighting, it looked flat and lifeless. It was frustrating. This morning, when I came into the studio, the light came in from the side, and I saw the painting I envisioned when I started.

It was the imperfect light that showed its beauty. A lot like life.

IMperfect Light, the poem

The light comes from the side.
Indirect. Scattered
by windows and walls,
Gloriously imperfect.
