A classic case of how a frame can change a picture. I painted this a year or more ago, but never found the right frame to set it off. I have also had this frame for a year or more, but never found a painting that fit it.

I had preconceived ideas of what each of them needed. And by mistake, I set the frame on top of the painting, and there it was. The perfect combination. The stylized, elegant perfect little frame holding the raw painting and declaration of lostness, with the cross at the end providing a symbol of hope. Often not seen, but still there.
